Okanagan Chardonnay - Quinta Ferreira Winery

One of my favorite Chardonnays—and easily the first that really impressed me from the Okanagan.

Right out of the glass, you get that warm, inviting hit of ripe, baked yellow apple. The palate follows through beautifully: smooth, layered, and deeply satisfying. There’s a lovely richness here—think butter, toasted brioche, a touch of caramel—without it ever feeling heavy or overdone.

The acidity keeps everything in check, giving it lift and balance, which I always look for in a fuller-bodied Chardonnay. It carries those ripe pear notes nicely into the finish, where a subtle nuttiness lingers just long enough to make you want another sip.

This is the kind of wine that knows exactly what it is—and absolutely delivers.
